RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Preamble

This policy will guide on the return, refund and exchange of product(s) sold through Biz Bazar Marketplace. This policy applies to all the Vendors and Consumers who buy and sell product(s) through Biz Bazar. Return and Refund Policy include regulations to manage the process of consumers returning or exchanging undesired or defective products they've previously purchased. The Biz Bazar Return and Refund Policy allows you to return or exchange products purchased on Biz Bazar for any reason including change of mind within the return/exchange period (check product details below) for a selected category. You are welcome to try on a product available within the Biz Bazar Marketplace, but shall take reasonable precautions to ensure that it remains in good condition, including tags and packing in order to return or exchange the product.

1. Scope of the Policy

To manage the process of return or exchange of unwanted, damaged, defective, incorrect, unexpected fit or counterfeited product(s) that consumers have purchased from the Biz Bazar Marketplace and providing the procedure of refund along with the limitation of Third Party Logistics.

2. Definition

1. Return: Return is a scheme given directly by Biz Bazar under this policy, in which buyers have the option of exchanging, replacing, or receiving a refund under specified conditions.

2. Return Policy: Return Policy refers to policy governing the return, refund, exchange or rejection of products which can be viewed within the Return Policy of Biz Bazar.

3. Replacement/ Exchange: Replacement/ Exchange is the action or process of exchanging the product that is purchased by a consumer.

4. Third Party Logistic(3PL): Third-party logistics (3PL) are companies that help e-commerce businesses manage their supply chains by arranging shipments, managing and providing transportation-related services for shippers, freight carriers, air cargo, and other related entities.

5. Marketplace: Biz Bazar Marketplace is an e-commerce platform owned and operated by Biz Bazar.

6. Vendor: Vendor refers to a person or company offering Biz Bazar for something to sell.

7. Defective Product: The product which hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured.

8. Damage Product: The product which has been broken, cracked, scratched etc.

9. Incorrect Product: The product that is wrong or opposite than that of an ordered product.

10. Unexpected fit: The product which is an undesirable difference in dimension such as physical size (width, height, length).

11. Counterfeit Product: The Product that is fake or unauthorized replicas of the real product.

12. Incomplete Product: The Product that lacks necessary parts or elements in order to use the product.

13. Logistic Center: The Center where incoming orders are received, processed and dispatched.

3. Time Frame

The return/ replace request must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product and for damaged/defective products the return/ replace request must be initiated within 3 days of receiving the product.

4. Requirements for Return

Return of products shall be conducted under following, unless expressly mentioned in the Return Policy in respect to any particular category of Products:

1. If the product is Defective.

2. If the product is Damaged.

3. If the product is Incorrect or not as displayed on the product page.

4. If the product is Counterfeited.

5. If the consumer changes his/her mind or no longer needs the product, eligible to limited, can return the product(s) only under the following conditions:

a) The product(s) must be unused, unaltered, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that the consumer received it.

b) The product(s) must include the original tags, user manual, warranty cards, freebies and accessories.

c) The product(s) must be returned in the undamaged original packaging/ box.

d) In case you have purchased a product that has a free gift/offer associated with the product and you wish to return the main product, then you will have to return the free product as well.

e) The product(s) will be inspected once received.

f) The product(s) shall be refused to be returned if any of the above conditions are not met.

5. Requirements for Replacement

1. Replacement of the products shall be conducted under following:

a) If the product is in Unexpected fit

b) If the product is Incomplete

c) If the product is Defective

d) If the product is Damaged

e) If the product is Incorrect or not as displayed on the product page.

f) If the product is Counterfeited

2. If you choose to exchange the above product(s) purchased by you on Biz Bazar within the specified exchange period, you will be provided with a replacement of the product(s), free of cost.

3. The exchange of the product is only valid if the product similar to it on the same price is available in case of non-availability of similar product the return request shall be initiated if applicable under this policy.

4. Non- returnable products/categories cannot be exchanged.

6. Conditions for Return or Replace

1. Biz Bazar shall be able to return/replace the product under following conditions:

a) If the required return product is returned within the specified timeframe.

b) If the Product delivered is not damaged, ironed, used, washed or altered by the consumer.

c) All necessary products for a smooth returns process must be intact with the product delivered, including the invoice, warranty cards, original packaging, price tags, and freebies.

2. The refund shall be initiated only after the product is picked and assessed by Biz Bazar. The product shall be returned to the consumer by Biz Bazar if not satisfied with the above mention condition.

3. Biz Bazar shall reserve the right to restrict return/replace of the product purchased on Biz Bazar if consumers in any way breaches or misuse this policy.

7. Return Policy Pursuant to the Category

1. Apparels & Fashion

Change of mind is applicable in shoes (men, women), wear (men, women, kid), belt, bag, wallet and other accessories except Men’s & Women's Innerwear (Bra Accessories, Briefs, Boxers, Lingerie Sets, Panty, Garter, Trunks and Vests), all products available in Kid’s & Baby Care and Kid’s Toys.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Apparels and Fashion the refund will only be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Men’s & Women's Innerwear, Baby Diapers, Ear Syringes, Nappy, Wet Reminder, Wipes and Wipe Warmers and Baby Book’s & Reading are not applicable for return and refund.

2. Automobiles:

Change of mind is applicable in Bike & Scooter Accessories except Bicycle, Scooter, Bike (including electric bike), Helmets, and other products available in Car & Accessories.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Automobiles the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Bicycles, Bike, Electric Bike, Scooters, Car Tires, Car Care, Chemicals & Fluids, Engine Oils and other exterior and interior of cars are not applicable for return and refund.

3. Books & Crafts

Change of mind is not applicable in Books & Crafts available in Biz Bazar Marketplace.

The products available in this category are not applicable to return and refund.

4. Electronics

Change of mind is not applicable in Audio & Video Device, Camera Accessories, Cameras, Computer and Network Components, Cordless & Telephone, Drones & CCTV, Gaming, Laptop and & Computer Accessories, Laptop & Desktop, Mobiles, Mobile Accessories, Servers, Storage Device, Tablets, Tablet Accessories.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Electronics the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

CDs/DVDs, Music, Movies and Software, Mobile/Tablet/Laptop Screen Guards, Screen Guard Applicators, Drones & CCTV, Graphics Cards, Processors, Motherboards, Internal Hard Drives, RAMs and Apple Brand Products is not applicable to return and refund

5. Food & Grocery

Change of mind is not applicable in products available in Food & Grocery.

In case of Expired, Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Food & Grocery the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Canned Food, Condiments, Drinks, Fruits, Health Supplements, Meat, Seafood, Syrups, Vegetables, artificial Sweetener, Milk and other Edible Products are not applicable to return and refund.

6. Health & Beauty

Change of mind is not applicable in Beauty Products, Fitness & Exercise, Health & Body Accessories, Health & Nutrition, Health Products, Medical & Surgical Kits, Sexual Wellness.

In case of Expire, Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Health & Beauty the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

All Beauty Products and Sexual Wellness products are not applicable to return and refund.

7. Home Décor & Furniture

Change of mind is not applicable in cabinet, smart security system, bathroom accessories, doors & Windows, Furnishing, Furniture, Home Décor, Home Useful Tools, Laundry & Cleaning.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Home Décor & Furniture the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Cleaning Gels, Detergents, Detergent Pods, Fabric Wash Products, Surface Cleaners, Stain Removers and Washing Bars/Powder, Bath Bubble/Salt/Sponge/Wash, Toilet Paper, Table paper, Body Wash, Loofahs, Scrubs, Shampoos and Soaps are not applicable to return and refund.

8. Jewellery, Watches & Glasses

Change of mind is not applicable in Jewellery, Watches & Glasses.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Jewellery, Watches & Glasses the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

All jewellery products (gold, silver, diamond, gems) are not applicable to return and refund.

9. Organic

All organic products are not applicable to return and refund.

10. Pet Supplies

Change of mind is not applicable in pet foods and pet health & Accessories.

In case of Expired, Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Pet Supplies the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Pet Food, Pet Shampoos and Conditioners, Pest Control, harnesses, aquarium supplies and Pet Grooming Aids are not applicable to return and refund

11. Sports & Outdoors

Change of mind is applicable in Travel Accessories except Bags & Luggage’s, Sports accessories, BBQ & Outdoor Dining, Event Tickets, Fire Safety, Tour Packages.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Sports & Outdoors

the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

BBQ & Outdoor Dining, Event Tickets, Fire Safety, Tour Packages are not applicable to return and refund

12. Stationary & Office Supplies

Change of mind is applicable in Packing & Shipping Products, Sign Boards, Stationary & Accessories, School & Office Equipment’s except Attendance & Door Access Device, Office equipment, Printers and Scanners, Printers & Scanners Accessories.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such Stationary & Office Supplies the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

Attendance & Door Access Device (Biometric Devices, RFID Devices), Office Equipment (Note Counting Machine, Numbering Machine, Token Machine, Labelling Machine), Printers and Scanners, Printers & Scanners Accessories (Ink and Toners, printing & Photocopy Paper) are not applicable for return and refund.

13. TV & Home Appliances

Change of mind is not applicable in TV & Home Appliances.

In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect or Counterfeit product of such TV & Home Appliances the refund will be initiated if return request fulfills the conditions as mention in Clause 6 of this Policy.

8. How to Return/ Replace Product(s)

1. It is simple to return/ replace products by using Biz Bazar website (www.bizbazar.com.np) if they turn out to be different than expected or just aren't quite what you want.

2. If you need to return/ replace a product(s) purchased through the Biz Bazar Marketplace, you need to access the Biz Bazar website. To process you are required to log in to your user account. Click on the profile page and select order from which you will see your order history and choose the product(s) you would like to return/ replace then navigate to request or replacement option, indicate the reason, comment, and submit.

3. No return shall be entertained after the expiration of the date mentioned in this policy.

9. Return/ Replacement Process

1. It can take up to 7 days for a product to reach us once consumer return it through Biz Bazar website/ App. Once the product is received at our Logistic Center, Biz Bazar shall conduct a quality control check at Biz bazar’s Logistic Center to determine the validity of the consumer’s return/ replacement claim.

2. If the quality control check identifies that the consumer's return/ replacement claim is invalid, for whatever reason, the Product is sent back to the consumer.

3. If the consumer's return claim is valid, the refund takes 5 business days to process, and the time period for refund amount to appear in the consumer account shall be based on the payment method respectively.

4. If the consumer wants to replace or exchange the product instead of the refund, the product shall be exchanged for a new identical product at no additional cost.

5. A refund will be granted to the consumer in some circumstances where the Biz Bazar is unable to process a replacement for whatever reason.

10. Refunds

1. The refund will be processed after the product is picked and quality checked by the Logistic Center of Biz Bazar.

2. The refund amount takes 7 business days to appear in the consumer account, if the payment method is COD (Cash on Delivery).

3. If the payment method is via other method, the refund amount takes 4-5 business days to appear in the consumer respective account.

11. Important Notice

1. Please make sure you don't include non- Biz Bazar product(s) by accident in your return package. Biz Bazar will not be liable for returning those product(s) to you.

12. Liability of Third Party Logistic(3PL)

1. At all times during the term of this agreement, 3PL shall procure and maintain, and shall confirm that each carrier has procured and is maintaining, at the sole cost and expense of the carrier, as applicable.

2. The Biz Bazar and 3PL acknowledge and agree that the carrier bears the risk of product(s) loss during transportation once the carrier's truck leaves the Biz Bazar’s pier.

3. 3PL should bear the risk of loss for returnable product(s) from the time the carrier's truck leaves the loading dock of a location, until the product(s) reach the ultimate destination.

4. 3PL is responsible to the Biz Bazar for any loss or damage to product(s) caused by the carrier's negligence, omissions, or failure to act.

5. Under this agreement, 3PL's responsibility is restricted to the entered amount. 3PL is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs as a result of a force majeure occurrence, as specified in this agreement, or a Biz Bazar act or default.
