RETURN AND REFUND POLICY 

Preamble 

This policy outlines the guidelines for returning and refunding products purchased through Bizbazar Marketplace, applicable to both Vendors and Customers. The Return and Refund Policy pertains to the steps involved in returning or refunding products that are unwanted or defective. It also permits customers to return or refund products within a certain timeframe specified in the product details. To facilitate returns or refunds, customers are encouraged to try on the product while taking reasonable care to preserve its condition, including tags and packaging. 

  1. Scope of the Policy 
    This policy outlines the process for returning unwanted, damaged, defective, incorrect, unexpected fit, or counterfeit product(s) purchased from the Bizbazar Marketplace, including the procedure for refunds and limitations on third-party logistics. 

  1. Definition 

    • Return: Facilitation of Return is a scheme offered directly by Bizbazar under this policy, allowing buyers to return, and receive a refund under specified conditions. 

    • Return Policy: The Return Policy governs the return, refund, or rejection of products and can be viewed within the Bizbazar Return Policy. 

    • Third-Party Logistics (3PL): Third-party logistics (3PL) are companies that help e-commerce businesses manage their supply chains by arranging shipments, managing transportation-related services for shippers, freight carriers, air cargo, and other related entities. 

    • Marketplace: The Bizbazar Marketplace is an e-commerce platform owned and operated by Bizbazar. 

    • Vendor: A vendor refers to a person or company offering products for sale on Bizbazar. 

    • Defective Product: A defective product hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured. 

    • Damaged Product: A damaged product has been broken, cracked, scratched, etc. 

    • Incorrect Product: An incorrect product is one that is wrong or opposite of the ordered product. 

    • Unexpected Fit: An unexpected fit is an undesirable difference in dimension, such as physical size (width, height, length). 

    • Counterfeit Product: A counterfeit product is fake or unauthorized replicas of the real product. 

    • Incomplete Product: An incomplete product lacks necessary parts or elements to use the product. 

    • Logistic Center: The logistic center receives, processes, and dispatches incoming orders. 
       

  1. Time Frame 
    The return request must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product and for damaged/defective products the return request must be initiated within 3 days of receiving the product. 

  1. Requirements for Return 
    Return of products shall be conducted under following, unless expressly mentioned in the Return Policy in respect to any category of Products: 

    • If the product is Defective. 

    • If the product is Damaged. 

    • If the product is Incorrect or not as displayed on the product page. 

    • If the product is Counterfeited. 

    • If the customer changes his/her mind or no longer needs the product, eligible to limited, can return the product(s) only under the following conditions: 
      a) The product(s) must be unused, unaltered, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that the customer received it. 
      b) The product(s) must include the original tags, user manual, warranty cards, freebies and accessories. 
      c) The product(s) must be returned in the undamaged original packaging/ box. 
      d) In case you have purchased a product that has a gift/offer associated with the product and you wish to return the main product, then you will have to return the free product as well. 
      e) The product(s) will be inspected once received. 
      f) The product(s) shall be refused to be returned if any of the above conditions are not met. 

  1. Return of the products shall be conducted under following:

    • If the product is in Unexpected fit 

    • If the product is Incomplete 

    • If the product is Defective 

    • If the product is Damaged 

    • If the product is Incorrect or not as displayed on the product page. 

    • If the product is Counterfeited 

    • Non-returnable products/categories cannot be returned. 
       

  1.  Conditions for Return 

    • Bizbazar shall be able to facilitate the return of the product under the following conditions: 

        a) If the required return product is returned within the specified timeframe. 

        b) If the product delivered is not damaged, ironed, used, washed, or altered by the customer. 

        c) All necessary products for a smooth returns process must be intact with the product delivered, including the invoice, warranty cards, original packaging, price tags, and freebies. 

    • The refund shall be initiated only after the product is picked and assessed by Bizbazar. The product shall be returned to the customer by Bizbazar if not satisfied with the above-mentioned conditions. 

    • Bizbazar shall reserve the right to restrict the return of the product purchased on Bizbazar if customers in any way breach or misuse this policy. 

  1. Return Policy Pursuant to the Category 

    • Apparels & Fashion 

        Change of mind is applicable in shoes (men, women), wear (men, women, kid), belt, bag, wallet and other accessories except Men’s & Women's Innerwear (Bra Accessories, Briefs, Boxers, Lingerie Sets, Panty, Garter, Trunks, and Vests), all products available in Kid’s & Baby Care, and Kid’s Toys. 

        In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect, or Counterfeit product of such Apparels and Fashion, the refund will only be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this Policy. 

        Men’s & Women's Innerwear, Baby Diapers, Ear Syringes, Nappy, Wet Reminder, Wipes and Wipe Warmers, and Baby Book’s & Reading are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Automobiles: 

        Change of mind is applicable in Bike & Scooter Accessories except Bicycle, Scooter, Bike (including electric bike), Helmets, and other products available in Car & Accessories. 

        In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect, or Counterfeit product of such Automobiles, the refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this Policy. 

        Bicycles, Bike, Electric Bike, Scooters, Car Tires, Car Care, Chemicals & Fluids, Engine Oils, and other exterior and interior of cars are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Books & Crafts 

        Change of mind is not applicable in Books & Crafts available on Bizbazar Marketplace. 

        The products available in this category are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Electronics 

        Change of mind is not applicable in Audio & Video Device, Camera Accessories, Cameras, Computer and Network Components, Cordless & Telephone, Drones & CCTV, Gaming, Laptop and & Computer Accessories, Laptop & Desktop, Mobiles, Mobile Accessories, Servers, Storage Device, Tablets, Tablet Accessories. 

        In case of Damage, Defective, Incorrect, or Counterfeit product of such Electronics, the refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this Policy. 

        CDs/DVDs, Music, Movies, and Software, Mobile/Tablet/Laptop Screen Guards, Screen Guard Applicators, Drones & CCTV, Graphics Cards, Processors, Motherboards, Internal Hard Drives, RAMs, and Apple Brand Products are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Food & Grocery 

        Change of mind is not applicable in products available in Food & Grocery. 

        In case of Expired, Damage, Defective, Incorrect, or Counterfeit product of such Food & Grocery, the refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this Policy. 

        Canned food, condiments, drinks, fruits, health supplements, meat, seafood, syrups, vegetables, artificial sweetener, milk, and other edible products are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Health & Beauty 

        Change of mind is not applicable for beauty products, fitness & exercise, health & body accessories, health & nutrition, health products, medical & surgical kits, and sexual wellness. However, if the product is expired, damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. All beauty products and sexual wellness products are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Home Décor & Furniture 

        Change of mind is not applicable for cabinets, smart security systems, bathroom accessories, doors & windows, furnishing, furniture, home décor, home useful tools, laundry & cleaning. However, if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. Cleaning gels, detergents, detergent pods, fabric wash products, surface cleaners, stain removers, washing bars/powder, bath bubble/salt/sponge/wash, toilet paper, table paper, body wash, loofahs, scrubs, shampoos, and soaps are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Jewellery, Watches & Glasses 

        Change of mind is not applicable for jewellery, watches, and glasses. However, if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. All jewellery products (gold, silver, diamond, gems) are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Organic 

        All organic products are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Pet Supplies 

        Change of mind is not applicable for pet foods and pet health & accessories. However, if the product is expired, damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. Pet food, pet shampoos and conditioners, pest control, harnesses, aquarium supplies, and pet grooming aids are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Sports & Outdoors 

        Change of mind is applicable for travel accessories except bags and luggage, sports accessories, BBQ & outdoor dining, event tickets, and fire safety. However, if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. BBQ & outdoor dining, event tickets, fire safety, and tour packages are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • Stationary & Office Supplies 

        Change of mind is applicable for packing & shipping products, sign boards, stationery & accessories, and school & office equipment except attendance & door access device, office equipment, printers and scanners, and printers & scanners accessories. However, if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated if the return request fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this policy. Attendance & door access device (biometric devices, RFID devices), office equipment (note counting machine, numbering machine, token machine, labelling machine), printers and scanners, and printers & scanners accessories (ink and toners, printing & photocopy paper) are not applicable for return and refund. 

    • TV & Home Appliances 

        Returns due to change of mind are not applicable for TV & Home Appliances. If the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or counterfeit, a refund will be initiated upon a return request that fulfills the conditions as mentioned in Clause 6 of this Policy. 

  1. How to Return Product(s) 

    • To return products that are different from what you expected or not what you want, use the Bizbazar website (www.bizbazar.com.np). 

    • If you need to return a product(s) purchased through the Bizbazar Marketplace, access the Bizbazar website, log in to your user account, and select the order from your order history. Choose the product(s) you want to return, indicate the reason, comment, and submit. 

    • No return shall be entertained after the expiration of the date mentioned in this policy. 

  1. Return Process 

    • It can take up to 7 days for a product to reach us once you return it through the Bizbazar website/app. Once the product is received at our Logistic Center, we shall conduct a quality control check to determine the validity of your return claim. 

    • If the quality control check identifies that your return claim is invalid, for whatever reason, the product is sent back to you. 

    • If your return claim is valid, the refund takes 5 business days to process, and the time period for the refund amount to appear in your account shall be based on the payment method. 

  1. Refunds 

    • The refund will be processed after the product is picked and quality checked by our Logistic Center. 

    • The refund amount takes 7 business days to appear in your account if the payment method is COD (Cash on Delivery). 

    • If the payment method is via other methods, the refund amount takes 4-5 business days to appear in your respective account.
